Belong, Learn, Transform

Welcome to ‘Belong, Learn, Transform’: An Alternative Provision School in Sheffield

Established in 2024, ‘Belong, Learn, Transform’ is dedicated to serving children aged between 6 and 16 across Sheffield who are at risk of exclusion (or may have already faced exclusion) from mainstream education. Our mission is to provide an excellent alternative provision, empowering young people who have been struggling in traditional educational settings to develop the skills and capabilities necessary for continuing their educational journeys.

At ‘Belong, Learn, Transform’, we understand that each student’s journey is unique. Our tailored approach focuses on closing the gaps in English and Maths while addressing the wider needs of our students through a specialised Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) curriculum. We believe that outdoor experiences and the wider curriculum offer – which can involve things like motor mechanics, fishing, construction, climbing, music and art – are essential for providing a platform for our SEMH curriculum. These experiential learning opportunities are designed to instill a sense of achievement in our students, which is pivotal to their personal development and can significantly aid in re-engaging them with the learning process.

We believe that fostering a positive learning environment is crucial for the holistic development of young people and equips them with the tools needed for a successful future. Our small settings and dedicated and experienced staff team are committed to creating a nurturing environment where young people can thrive, grow, and ultimately contribute positively to their communities.

If you are looking for an alternative provision that prioritises the individual needs of young learners, focuses on holistic development, and believes in the power of second chances, we invite you to explore what ‘Belong, Learn, Transform’ has to offer.
